This course is for Advanced level students who are interested in topic-based discussion and exchange of opinions related to current national and international events in areas such as politics, health, environment, technology, education. The course is designed to provide you with plenty of opportunities to extend your ability to communicate more naturally in English through exposure to authentic material.
コースの内容Contents of the course
- 英国文化や時事的なニュース要素をもったイベントを取り上げます
- insights into British culture and current news events;
- 語彙の発展に重点をおきます
- emphasis on vocabulary development;
- 新聞、BBCのビデオ等を駆使し幅広い教材を使い、ディスカッションや意見交換を行います
- exposure to a wide range of authentic material to stimulate discussion and sharing of opinions - newspapers and BBC video;
- ニュースを聞き取る自信を養う為のリスニングタスク
- listening tasks to build confidence in listening to the news;
- より効果的なコミュニケーション能力と自信を付ける為のスピーキングタスク
- speaking tasks to increase your confidence and ability to communicate more effectively;
- 日々の実用的な英語表現の練習 例）同意/不同意、一般論を述べる等々
- practice of everyday functional expressions used in English e.g. agreeing/disagreeing, generalising etc.
